6 Week Meditation Course
Many people feel that Meditation is too difficult and needs to be practiced for long periods of time in total peace & quiet whilst chanting and although this can be a form of meditation; it is not the only one.
Studies of the benefits of Meditation have been greatly researched and the lists of both physical and physiological benefits are endless, but include things such as improved sleep, better relationships, increased life expectancy, normalisation of blood pressure, decrees in heart conditions, aids depression, anxiety attacks and stress responses.
This course runs over 6 weeks, each session lasting 90 minutes guiding you through different techniques to quieten your mind & enrich you with the lifelong knowledge to a brighter more peaceful present.
The course is run by Lisa Barnes & Mirella Lamarina; both have been taught by renowned spiritual author William Bloom. Lisa’s experience comes from working in the field of ‘Overwhelm’ seeing the need to take her clients off the ‘flight & fight’ response & Mirella an experienced Yoga teacher, specialising in Power Yoga, breathe & meditation.
Week 1 – Introduction, Self-Understanding, Awareness Exercises, Grounding Meditation.
Week 2 – Gateways to Meditation, Yoga Poses, Grounding.
Week 3 – Chanting, Lead Chakra Meditation, Yoga Poses, Quite time.
Week 4 – Alkaline your Body & Mind, Visualization Meditation.
Week 5 – Grounding, Breathing Techniques, Aimed Meditation, Affirmations.
Week 6 – Mindful time, Stress release tricks, Meditation to work for you. Eating tips which help to calm your body & mind.
After every meeting up you will be given further information and support to keep you connected with your gentle transformational journey
Venue: Claverton Down Community Hall, Bath, BA2 6DT (opposite Bath University) 8.00-9.30 pm
Cost: £105 (Booking is essential as places are limited)
I you are intersted, Mirella will be holding a Yoga class prior to our Meditation Course. The classes are £8 drop in, so the evenings will run as follows:-
6.45pm-7.45pm Yoga for all levels (£8 drop in)
8.00pm-9.30pm Meditation Course (currently £99 for 6 weeks)
9.30pm-10.00pm Additional Silent Meditation (£5 drop in)
